About Me

My intention as a therapist is to "undo aloneness" by offering an attuned presence, a non-judgmental space and a generous amount of empathy while working from a variety of evidence-based models.

I have been described as discerning, gentle and authentic. I am passionate about helping others find resilience in their story while empowering them to make positive changes in their lives.  As a college student, I began seeing a therapist to address parts of myself that kept me feeling stuck in old patterns and negative beliefs.  I continue to seek support from my therapist and and supervisors to navigate new territory as life naturally ebbs and flows.

Walking alongside clients through the peaks and valleys of life is truly an honor. I hope you feel cared for and supported as you take courageous steps toward your own transformation.

Professional Background

How I View Therapy

I view the therapeutic alliance as the most important priority and collaborate with each client to identify strengths, needs and desired outcomes.  I use a trauma-informed and attachment based lens when working with clients. I believe that being with and experiencing our emotions clarifies our needs, desires, and what we value the most.

I draw from various neurobiological models of therapy which recognize that corrective emotional and relational experiences in the therapeutic setting can alleviate suffering and mobilize change in the brain. Recognizing how the mind, body, and spirit are connected, I often encourage clients to pay close attention to and learn from the wisdom of their body.
