No, I do not work with insurance companies. All sessions are considered private pay and payments are made at the end of each session. Upon request, I do offer a limited number of sliding scale fee options based on annual income. I'm happy to provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Mental health therapy is considered a medical service so a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account is an acceptable form of payment.
My current rates are $150 for a 60 minute session and $200 for a 90 minute session.
Yes. I offer in person session from an office on Signal Mountain, TN which is about 15 miles from Chattanooga.
I am also able to work with any Tennessee resident using a video conferencing platform through Simple Practice.
Yes. I ask for a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. If you cancel within 24 hours or there is a no call/ no show, there is a late cancellation charge of 70% of the session fee.
Exceptions are made if you're sick or have other unexpected barriers keeping you from attending your session.
Session frequency is dependent on your needs and specific goals.
Many new clients choose to set up weekly sessions at the beginning in order to build rapport with the therapist and establish a supportive momentum. Over time sessions might decrease in frequency to once or twice per month.
I offer a 90 minute session option which is helpful if sessions are scheduled monthly or if weekly sessions aren't possible.
